:Haiti Call:

I am sure that you all heard about the great misfortune that hit Haiti some days ago...
and in case you did not, just let me tell you a few devastating facts...

- 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck at 1653 local time (2153 GMT) on 12 January
- Officials fear more than 100,000 dead and 3,000,000 affected
- Up to 150 UN staff, including peacekeepers, unaccounted for

You realize that all these are more than just numbers... numbers are there to talk to our minds... but we can also put numbers to work for our hearts... Unfortunately we cannot be there and help any way possible... but at least we can offer whatever we can spare to help the people in Haiti...
